A beautiful edition of a beautiful English translation of the Septuagint version of the Psalms, designed for use for Vespers and Matins in the Orthodox Church. As such, it is divided into twenty kathismata, or groupings of Psalms, which facilitates the reading of the whole Psalter every week during divine services. The book is durably bound in blue with gold stamping, two colors of printing within, with comfortably large print. The introduction and appendices are helpful in clarifying Orthodox liturgical use of the Psalter. 298 pp.
